Mr & Mrs Scott opted for a 3.92kWp system on their South-facing barn roof in order to maximise the Feed in Tariff income. By keeping the system size under 4kWp, they benefit from the highest tariff rate of 43.3p per kWh of electricity produced.
A delighted Mr Scott said "We only had the panels installed 5 days ago and we have already made £41.50 in Feed in Tariff payments, as well as taking less electricity from the grid."
